Position Summary
As Data Analyst, you will play a key role in building and transforming operational, financial, marketing performance and guest experience data into dashboards and actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with the Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Culinary teams to inform decision-making and drive data-informed strategies across our restaurant and event locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources including POS systems, reservation platforms, customer feedback tools, digital marketing and financial systems
- Build dashboards and provide reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, average check size, guest satisfaction scores, occupancy, and marketing campaigns and performance
- Be proficient in Google BigQuery or similar to bring siloed data sources together and display in a real-time dashboard for market and sales assessment
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement across operations and guest services
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes with historical data and predictive analysis
- Assist in implementing data collection best practices across location and corporate departments
- Present findings in clear, visual, and executive-friendly formats to help guide strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Experience with platforms such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience with connecting data sources such as Meta, TikTok and various social media ad platforms, CRM tools (MailChimp), and website analytics
- Proficiency in Google BigQuery or similar, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics
- Proficiency in data tools such as Excel
- Experience with UTM tracking and implementation
- Experience working with POS systems (e.g., Aloha) and reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for uncovering insights
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into business recommendations
Required Experience
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in hospitality, F&B, or retail environments
- Knowledge of fine dining operations or luxury service industries is a strong advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
