Now Hiring – Senior IT Pharmacy Systems Analyst
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm EST
Location: Remote, Austin preferred
Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy - Tarrytown Expocare (“Tarrytown”) is a national long-term care pharmacy that serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (“IDD”). The Company provides prescription medication to individuals primarily residing in group homes and offers clinical administrative services to its facility partners.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Data Financial Analyst to support our Finance organization. This role sits within the Data Analytics team (IT) but has a dotted-line reporting relationship to Finance, partnering closely with Finance leadership to architect, maintain, and optimize finance-specific data workflows, reporting, and insights. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who can combine technical expertise with business acumen to translate finance priorities into structured, actionable data solutions and represent Finance in cross-functional discussions.

Expected Duties:
-
Collaborate with Finance leadership to understand business needs and translate them into data workflows, ETLs, and reporting requirements. Includes helping define metrics; capturing, accessing, and organizing data to measure and report on key business processes.

Design, develop, and maintain finance-specific data pipelines and ETLs in Domo to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Build and maintain a scalable and consistent data structure to support recurring monthly financial reporting and ad hoc analysis.

Work with the broader Data organization to understand the company-wide data structure and ensure Finance data fits cohesively into enterprise pipelines and workflows.

Represent Finance in cross-functional data discussions, providing input on data architecture, workflow design, and prioritization of finance-related initiatives.

Conduct data analysis to uncover trends, variances, and insights to support business decisions.

Validate and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reports and dashboards.

Support the Finance team in creating actionable insights through dashboards, visualizations, and reports.

Create processes to extract reliable, consistent data from new pharmacy management systems.

Continuously improve reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation.

Assist in the analysis of BI reporting architecture and report creation, including analysis of guided analytics and other BI solutions.

Provide assistance for BI reporting solutions, potentially including engaging in joint analysis with application development teams, assisting user adoption, documenting, and communicating standards and procedures.

Demonstrate learning agility by utilizing internal and external training opportunities to cross-train on business intelligence tools and database platforms such as Microsoft Power Suite, Domo, SQL Server, Business Objects, SQL Reporting Services, etc.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:

BA/BS in mathematics, economics, analytics, computer science or related technical fields.

5+ years professional experience in a technical and/or analytics-based environment required.

DOMO Analysis experience preferred.

Experience using BI discovery-oriented tools required.

Ability to translate Finance requirements into technical solutions

Basic knowledge of pharmacy or healthcare environment.

Must be proficient in English (Read, Write and verbal communication)

Experience and advanced technical understanding of the following: SQL queries, data warehousing, ETLs/data pipelines.

Experience with NetSuite, Sage, Squareworks, and Workday Adaptive is a significant plus.

Experience with Softwriters, FrameworkLTC is a significant plus.

Knowledge of HL7 is a significant plus.

Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time (Ability to travel to Austin, TX for training and potentially new pharmacy sites.)
