Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to develop and deploy machine learning models, build NLP solutions, and optimize data pipelines. The ideal candidate will work on anomaly detection, time-series analysis, and automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. There is the possibility of a sign on bonus and/or relocation reimbursement. You must be a US citizen or eligible to work in the US. This is not a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
· Machine Learning & NLP: Develop and deploy ML models for tasks like name screening, sentiment analysis, and text classification.
· Anomaly Detection & Time Series Analysis: Build predictive models using LSTM, SVD, and other techniques.
· API Development: Create APIs to integrate ML models into applications.
· Able to design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches for LLM-based applications.
· Work with vector databases and graph databases for knowledge representation and retrieval
· Build and optimize NLP models leveraging transformer-based architectures (e.g., BERT, GPT).
· Data Engineering: Design scalable ETL pipelines, clean and validate data, and manage time-series databases.
· Web Scraping & Automation: Develop automated data extraction solutions integrated with NLP.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work with business teams, mentor junior members, and contribute to team development.
Skills & Qualifications:
· 4+ years of experience in AI/ML software development using Python and R
· 4+ years of strong knowledge of Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
· 4+ years of experience in Data Standardization, Aggregation and Integration
· Experience with NLP tools (spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face)
· Hands-on expertise in anomaly detection and predictive analytics
· Proficiency in SQL, Apache Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
· Experience with API development (Flask, FastAPI)
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
· Experience working with SAS, Github, Jira, SQL, RDS, and cloud computing.
· Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technicaldocumentation and research publications.
· Minimum master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
