Tommy’s is looking for a talented Business Intelligence Data Engineer to assist with the design and implementation of company Analytics Platform. You will be working closely with the existing team members in Software Development and Data Analytics to implement data modeling solutions in order to streamline and support current enterprise information management. You will also be tasked with building/adding to our existing data model and web-based analytics dashboards.

Position Responsibilities:
- Translate business needs into scalable data models and solutions.
- Evaluate and improve existing data systems and architecture.
- Collaborate with business units and engineering teams to define long-term data platform strategy.
- Design and implement integrations, data pipelines, and data quality frameworks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Enhance and or maintain any and all data quality, governance, and security standards.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Support the development of web-based analytics dashboards and BI tools, Power BI preferred.
Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, IT, or related field
- 2+ years of experience or related field.
- Strong experience with dimensional and relational data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with cloud data tools (Databricks, Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics).
- Knowledge of statistics, data profiling, and data governance best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of marketing analytics, including key metrics (impressions, reach, CTR, CPC, opens), UTM tracking, attribution modeling, funnel analysis, and A/B testing
- Experience with customer data platforms (preferably Segment)
- Experience with AI/ML concepts and tools, including applying machine learning techniques to data modeling, predictive analytics, and business intelligence use cases.
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
Position, Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position is full time. On average the Team Member will work 40 to 45 hours a week. Could possibly work on a weekend or respond to phone calls or emails in the evening. This job operates in a professional office environment. Office operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.
To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:
- Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as; calculator, copy machine and printer.

- Able to work and commute in all weather conditions.
