What You’ve Accomplished
- Completion of a BS in Computer Science, Engineering, a technical/business discipline, or comparable experience in lieu of degree
- At least 6 years of directly related work experience
- Familiarity with a variety of the Information Technology concepts, practices, and procedures
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly, and work well as part of a team

- Proven experience with Data Ops and Continuous Integration/Delivery/Development
- Expertise in Cloud Data and Orchestration Tools
- Modern data tools in a cloud environment such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI
- Strong Data engineering & Programming Skills
- Advanced knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and solid programming skill in languages like Python

As a RAG & Data Ops Engineer in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Corporate Business Unit. This role will work alongside other system architects, AI developers, project leads, application owners, and database administrators to develop various solutions. We are seeking individuals committed to delivering and improving quality services to our internal customers. This position requires occasional travel with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Your Total Rewards Package
The range of base salary for the position is between $97,000 - $131,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
