Machine Learning Engineer – San Francisco (Remote-Friendly)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Remote-Friendly, US-Based)

Salary: $180,000 – $220,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models into scalable production environments.
- Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to translate research into practical applications.
- Develop data pipelines, model training workflows, and performance monitoring tools.
- Optimize models for efficiency, reliability, and scalability in cloud-based environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Stay current with advancements in ML/AI research and bring innovative approaches into production systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering tools and distributed computing (Spark, Ray, or similar).
- Familiarity with deploying ML models to production environments (APIs, microservices, or cloud-native systems).
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and statistical modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong background in computer science, mathematics, or a related field (BS/MS/PhD).
