Job Responsibilities
As a Private Equity Associate, you will play a critical role in the investment lifecycle, from deal sourcing and due diligence to portfolio management and exit strategies. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market research, financial modeling, and industry analysis.
• Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth due diligence including financial, operational, and legal assessments of target companies.
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain complex financial models to assess investment returns, capital structures, and valuation scenarios.
• Transaction Execution: Support deal execution including drafting investment memos, coordinating with legal and advisory teams, and managing transaction timelines.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor and support portfolio companies, including performance tracking, strategic planning, and value creation initiatives.
• Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic factors affecting investment strategies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare presentations and reports for internal investment committees and external stakeholders.
Job Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, or private equity.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling), PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook).
• Analytical Ability: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
