This is a full time permanent position that will focus on the development, implementation, and maintenance of our data warehouse using Amazon Redshift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience with AWS infrastructure, and expertise in managing data sourced from structured and unstructured data sources. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating insightful reports using Amazon QuickSight. Position will be in office 2X week.
Duties:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data warehouse solutions utilizing Amazon Redshift.
- Define, create, and optimize ETL processes to enhance data extraction, transformation, and loading using AWS services.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using AWS tools such as Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, DMS, Redshift, and others.
- Utilize Amazon QuickSight to design, develop, and publish dynamic reports and dashboards for business analytics.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure high availability and performance of data storage systems.
- Implement data governance practices to ensure compliance and security of data assets.
Required:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on data warehouse architecture and development.
- SQL, Amazon Redshift are required. QuickSight experience is a PLUS
- Onsite 2 days per week in Tampa
- Experience with Healthcare data (FHIR, HEDIS, HL7) is preferred
- Familiarity with data extraction and transformation using MySQL databases and Parquet files.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database management, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Permanent Work Authorization in the US is required.
- Must live in Tampa area. Relocation not being considered.
