NOVARITY Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Business / Data Analyst to join our growing team in Chantilly, VA. This role is perfect for early-career professionals (0–5 years) who want to apply their STEM background and analytical skills to real-world challenges. You will collaborate directly with engineers, analysts, and leadership teams to transform complex data into actionable business intelligence.
What You’ll Do
As a Business / Data Analyst, you will:
- Build interactive dashboards and reports that drive informed decision-making.
- Connect to and integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources.
- Analyze and visualize large datasets to uncover patterns, identify risks, and highlight opportunities.
- Translate complex findings into clear, concise insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with engineers, business professionals, and senior leadership to shape strategy with data-driven insights.
- Balance independent problem-solving with teamwork in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
What We’re Looking For
- U.S. Citizenship (Required).
- Bachelor’s degree in business / data analytics or STEM field (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related).
- An active TS/SCI clearance (required at time of hire). This position is not eligible for new SCI clearance sponsorship. If you have had a previous active SCI within the last 12 months, then please let us know.
- 0–5 years of experience in data/business analysis or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and summarize insights.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as:
- Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik for dashboard/report development
- SQL for querying and manipulating data
- Familiarity with Python, R, or MATLAB for advanced analytics (a plus)
- Excel for quick-turn analysis and reporting
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly—both in writing and in person—tailored to audiences ranging from engineers to senior executives.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, collaborative, and eager to learn.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Background supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
