Our client is located in Phoenix, AZ. We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for creating complex analytics systems, reports, and other various reporting strategies throughout our California and Arizona locations. This role will serve as a resource to employees and students, working collaboratively with other members of the corporate and IT departments to provide exceptional analytical services for multiple office locations with upwards of 4,000 users. Ideal candidates will have experience and extensive exposure in a data analyst role. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Possesses a passion and experience for analytics, excellent communication skills, follows directives from upper management, and show the ability to work well with small and large teams.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Decision Sciences, Information Technology, Business/Data Analytics or related fields.
- Thorough knowledge of data information systems, data mining and analytics, business intelligence software, associated reporting software, and the relationships between data elements.
- Thorough working knowledge of OData, Microsoft’s Power BI Analytics, and SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and evaluate software functionality through technical documents and testing, perform fit-gap analyses, and design and document efficient and effective business practices.
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst role.
- Knowledge of the following technology is listed below:
- Analytic tools such as PowerBI.
- Educational tools such as Anthology Student, VerityIQ, Orbund Einstein, and Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Elicit data requirements using interviews, requirements meetings, surveys, document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and workflow analysis.
- Receive report requests, evaluate requirements, and recommend existing or new solutions.
- Create reports and data products for varying departments based on need.
- Assist the company with information needs through understanding of data and metadata content.
- Works with our IT Director and Data Integrations Developer to translate requirements into a technical solution.
- Works closely and cooperatively with development teams on product design; makes recommendations for change to enhance support and usability.
- Validates that any data solution meets requirements and service-level agreements.
- Participates in system administration functions including data validation processes, duplicate resolution processes, system change requests, and system integration/user acceptance testing to ensure ongoing integrity and security of data consistent with policies and procedures.
- Assumes or coordinates other duties or projects as assigned or directed.
- Provide documentation of all requests, support, and projects.
- Assist in managing procedural guides within their assigned department, including this position’s procedural guide.
- Become knowledgeable to an advanced extent of all technology and equipment used at the company.
- Willing to work and communicate with a full team of administrators and directors. Capable of being a team player.
- Attend required meetings.
- This position is 99% remote and will be based on a Monday – Friday schedule. Certain hours may be assigned.
- You may be asked to travel to certain locations in California and Arizona.
Will report directly and be in constant communication with the IT Director
