About the Role:
Job Title: Python Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications primarily using Python.
- Implement enhancements and required changes for ongoing projects.
- Contribute to production support activities, ensuring smooth application performance.
- Utilize AWS services to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
- Apply Java knowledge where necessary to support existing modules or integrations.
- Take full ownership of assigned tasks and deliver without constant supervision.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development with real-time project exposure.
- Good understanding of Java concepts and ability to support Java-based components.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.).
- Experience with production support and issue resolution.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of tasks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with microservices and REST API development.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
Location: Chicago,IL
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,440 – $109,480 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
