Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

About the Team
Join a team that is redefining how data powers decision-making at NBCUniversal. As part of the Data Product Management group within the Media Group’s Decision Sciences organization, our mission is to accelerate insights and improve efficiency by delivering integrated data through a unified technology stack.
The Role
As an Analyst in Data Product Management, you will join a collaborative, forward-thinking team that treats data as a product. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build and evolve data products that drive measurable impact across NBCUniversal’s media portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing the full lifecycle of data products – from ideation and development to deployment and iteration.
Responsibilities

Contribute to the development and enhancement of data products that support decision-making across NBCUniversal Media Group.

Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and data visualization tools that deliver actionable insights.

Own and manage the intake process for dashboard publications to our central reporting platform.

Partner with analytics teams to lead info share sessions and support end users of our data reporting tools.

Analyze product usage and performance data to identify areas for improvement.

Assist in testing, validating, and optimizing data products to ensure accuracy and scalability.

Learn and apply best practices in data product management, with mentorship from experienced team members.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g.: Business, Data Science, Information Systems).

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail and quality control.

Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Passion for data and eagerness to learn and apply innovative technologies and methodologies.

Familiarity with tools such as Excel and SQL for data analysis and manipulation.

Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g.: Tableau) is a plus.

Experience with project tracking or collaboration tools (e.g.: Jira, Confluence) is a plus.

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
