THE PROGRAM
We're looking for students to join our Co-Op Program who believe that sound is power. Over the 6-month co-op, you will get the opportunity to apply the skills you learned in the classroom with hands-on work experience. Our Co-Ops will get to network across the business to understand different perspectives at Bose. You'll connect with other Co-Ops and colleagues to grow your network for the future!
Timeframe - Spring Co-op-
Must be available January 12- June 26, 2026 and able to commute to work in a hybrid environment.
THE ROLE
Responsibilities
We're looking for a Co-Op with a background in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science to join the Automotive Software Architecture Team to support signal processing components development, design and testing. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assisting in writing test scripts.
- Creating automation tools.
- Developing GUI tools.
- Supporting the development and testing of embedded software.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should be/have:
- A Rising Senior studying Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Programming languages: Python, C/C++, OS principles, basic understanding of code compilation, build processes and testing/debugging, comfortable using Terminal.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills: ability to create technical documentation, presentations and articulate ideas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some experience in writing Firmware for Embedded Systems demonstrated in past internships or school project work.
- A Masters degree.
- Model based design using Matlab/Simulink and UML.
- Understanding of Audio and Digital Signal processing concepts.
- Experience in using AI Tools.
