Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Dallas, TX. Key Responsibilities:
- Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingesting data into Snowflake
- Develop and manage Snowflake Tasks for scheduling and automating workflows
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs
- As a Senior Data Engineer, you will ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all pipelines
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues
Requirements
- Proven experience with Snowflake, including data ingestion and task orchestration
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline frameworks
- Experience with Amazon QuickSight for data visualization and reporting
- Strong understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and debug complex queries
- Exposure to Cortex or similar platforms
- Background in AI/ML concepts and workflows
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
