Program Details Kahua’s Internship Program provides a collaborative work experience giving students insight into a professional environment with meaningful work in your chosen field. During this 10-week program (May 26th - July 31st), you will have the chance to participate in professional development workshops, learn about projects across all areas of the company, try skill-based competitions and more. Kahua’s Internship Program is a full-time on-site opportunity at our headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia. All of our internship positions are paid, offering an hourly rate that meets competitive industry standards.
What You Will Learn The Application Developer intern will learn how to design, develop, implement, and support applications built using kBuilder, Kahua’s low code development platform. These applications are used by companies and client organizations to efficiently manage their construction projects and workflows. You will work with Microsoft software development tools, as well as a variety of internal and external applications and resources to perform daily tasks.
- How to utilize rapid application development with the Kahua kBuilder.
- How to analyze, design, develop and document integration applications and services.
- Data integration and workflow design.
- Design and development of Reports.
- Client implementation support.
- How to assist in documentation and support for Kahua’s partner community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of web and mobile applications using HTML, XML, and C#.
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, implement, and test REST APIs.
- Utilize Postman to test and troubleshoot API endpoints.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Work with Windows OS environments for development and testing.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Support the team with various tasks as needed in the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HTML, XML, and C# programming languages.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and experience using Postman is a plus.
- Comfortable working with Windows OS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
