We are a fast-growing POS (Point-of-Sale) product company that builds innovative solutions for the retail and restaurant industry. Our mission is to simplify operations, enhance customer experience, and drive digital transformation for small to mid-size businesses. We have Multiple engineering Interns positions available at Folsom, CA office.

As an Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and testing cutting-edge POS software, working closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and testing of POS software modules (front-end, back-end, APIs).
Debug, document, and fix issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
Contribute to building new features for POS hardware/software integrations (payments, printers, scanners, KDS, etc.).
Collaborate with the QA team on unit testing, integration testing, and automation scripts.
Work with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
Document code, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Basic knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with web technologies (React, Angular, Node.js) or mobile app development (iOS/Android) is a plus.
Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) , AI and REST APIs.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
