Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various data management tools and programming languages.
Duties
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Utilize data analysis tools to assess project costs and identify potential savings or efficiencies.
- Prepare bid proposals and present estimates to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain a database of historical costs for future reference and benchmarking.
- Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to estimates.
- Participate in post-project evaluations to refine estimating processes and improve accuracy.
Skills
- Proficiency in Xactimate and other insurance estiamting software
- Strong knowledge of both commercial and residential construction, specifically exteriors - roofing, windows, siding.
- Experience with CRM software for tracking jobprogress and client communication.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
