OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Data Science Consultant to work with our team. The consultant will assist in developing and implementing machine learning models, with a focus on text classification using transformers, and contribute to data analysis projects to drive actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and fine-tune transformer-based models for text classification tasks using Python and PyTorch.
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with the data science team to design and implement experiments.
- Create clear visualizations and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Assist in optimizing data science workflows and documenting processes.
Required Qualifications- Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch for machine learning model development.
- Hands-on experience with transformer models (e.g., BERT, DistilBERT, RoBERTA) for text classification tasks.
- Solid understanding of data science principles, including statistical analysis, data preprocessing, and feature engineering.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn) and libraries for data manipulation (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
- Ability to interpret and present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cloud-based data science platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
