Associate Data Analyst
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Write and test basic SQL queries to support reporting, reconciliation checks, and ad hoc requests.
- Support customer experience analytics projects such as web usage tracking, A/B testing results, and product visibility reporting.
- Build reports and dashboards in tools like Tableau to help Sales, Operations, and other business teams visualize data trends.
- Partner with senior analysts to investigate business questions and identify trends or patterns in customer and operational data.
- Document findings and update internal knowledge bases to support future analysis and efficiency.
- Learn and apply statistical techniques under guidance to interpret results and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and IT, to support ongoing analytics initiatives.
- Maintain ongoing self-development in SQL, Excel, Tableau, and emerging data tools such as Databricks.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or related field (internship or academic project experience welcome).
- Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to write simple queries.
- Proficiency with Excel; exposure to tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting software preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
- Curiosity to learn, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work collaboratively within a growing team.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
Work Days and Hours
- Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional weekends may be required.
- Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be necessary.
