Job Description
Reporting Development & Maintenance
- Build, automate, and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to support business operations, sales trends, inventory metrics, and financial performance.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, data integrity, and consistency across all outputs.
- Support ad-hoc reporting needs across Planning, Buying, and Executive teams.
Business Performance Analysis
- Analyze key performance indicators (e.g., sales, margin, turn, sell-through, weeks of supply) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate complex datasets into clear and concise summaries for cross-functional partners.
- Help monitor in-season performance and provide data to support course-correction decisions.
Tool & System Support
- Support the optimization of reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel-based tools) and help identify automation opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve data access, structure, and usability.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Planners, Merchants, and Operational leaders to gather requirements and deliver insights tailored to their needs.
- Assist in presentations and storytelling using data to influence decisions and strategic planning efforts
Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
- 2–4 years of experience in analytics, planning, reporting, or a similar role—preferably in retail, fashion, or consumer goods.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred
- Experience supporting planning or merchandising functions.
- Familiarity with planning or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Anaplan, JDA).
- A passion for turning data into insights that drive business value.
