We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a solid understanding of business processes. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs, analyze data, and provide actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. The Business Analyst will leverage various tools and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and support project management initiatives.

Duties

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
Conduct thorough data analysis using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize trends and insights.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate findings effectively.
Participate in Agile project management processes to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Utilize SQL for querying databases, performing ETL processes, and ensuring data integrity.
Engage in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing input during all phases of development.
Design and optimize databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other database management systems.
Create process flows and documentation using Visio to illustrate business processes.
Apply programming skills in Python, R, VBA, or Bash (Unix shell) for automation and data manipulation tasks.
Support the implementation of linked data strategies to enhance data usability across platforms.

Requirements

Proven experience in business analysis or a related field.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of SQL for database querying and management.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
Experience with ETL processes using tools like Talend or similar technologies.
Understanding of database design principles and best practices.
Ability to analyze complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.
Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
