Overview
Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst to join a leading technology company based in Fort Collins, Colorado. This hybrid role involves supporting key project initiatives, particularly around data migration and training documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Migration Support
- Monitor data migration throughout the project lifecycle (development, testing, migration, go-live) to ensure smooth execution
- Collaborate with Business, IT, and Product Data Management teams to drive successful migration outcomes
- Assess and maintain data quality through cleansing and verification
- Identify and mitigate data risks using best practices
- Troubleshoot data bottlenecks and bugs with the project team
Training Documentation Development
- Assist during the testing phase to plan and draft user training materials
- Work with IT and business SMEs to document business process procedures
- Review documentation with SMEs for accuracy and clarity
- Deliver polished, user-friendly content formatted for publication
Qualifications:
- Very strong Excel knowledge (formulas, Power Query, Excel tables)
- Strong VBA programming skills, ability to read and write VBA code and troubleshoot & debug it
- Good visual design skills (can make reports look nice)
- At least basic SQL querying (SELECT, UPDATE, DELETE)
- Basic knowledge of Python with interest to grow in that area -- this will be a strong draw for a candidate that wants to break into Python development
- Very basic knowledge of Git Version control with desire to grow
