Primary Responsibilities
- Design, Develop, and Maintain Scalable, Secure, and Efficient Data Pipelines
- Implement and Optimize ETL/ELT Workflows Using Tools Such as AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Apache Spark, or Microsoft Fabric
- Visualize Data Using Tools Like Amazon Quicksight, Power Bi, or Tableau
- Build and Optimize Data Lakes and Warehouses to Support Advanced Analytics
- Manage Large-Scale Datasets Using Amazon Redshift, Aurora, Dynamodb, or Microsoft Fabric
- Optimize Database Performance, Queries, and Overall Efficiency
- Develop and Enforce Best Practices for Data Governance, Security, and Compliance
- Partner with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to Deliver Tailored Data Solutions
- Work Closely with Product and Client Success Teams to Address Ad-Hoc Data Requests
- Automate Data Infrastructure and Processes Using Infrastructure-As-Code (IAC) Tools
- Monitor, Troubleshoot, and Ensure the Reliability and Availability of Data Pipelines
- Stay Current with Emerging Data Engineering Technologies and Methodologies
- Drive Innovation Within the Data Engineering Team and Contribute to Long-Term Technical Strategy
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a Related Field
- 5+ Years of Experience in Data Engineering, with Proven Expertise in Building and Managing Large-Scale Data Pipelines
- Proficiency in AWS or Microsoft Fabric Environments
- Strong Programming and Analytical Skills in Python, Java and SQL
- Experience with ETL/ELT Workflows, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouse Optimization
- Strong Knowledge of Data Governance, Security, and Compliance Best Practices
