Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Data Solutions Engineer. Under the supervision of the Chief Technology Officer, the Data Solutions Engineer is responsible for using Microsoft Azure Technologies to be involved in designing, building, and leading small and large solutions projects such as data pipelines, automations, and integration with generative AI endpoints and machine learning. This role blends hands-on software architecture, design, and development with project management.

Responsibilities:
-
Design and deliver modern data pipelines, automation workflows, and system
-
integrations using Azure services including but not limited to Data Factory, Logic Apps,
-
Functions, and Power Platform.
-
Architect and build secure APIs, data flows, and cloud-native solutions that support
-
reporting, compliance, and operational needs.
-
Integrate Azure OpenAI and machine learning models into real-world workflows to
-
improve efficiency, insights, and clinical decision-making.
-
Be involved in a Datawarehouse transformation and integration of data pipelines with
-
an EMR Transition.
-
Translate business requirements into technical stories and deliverables, managing
-
backlogs and collaborating within Agile teams.
-
Mentor and guide junior engineers while ensuring high standards in cloud security,
-
DevOps, and documentation.

Collaborate with stakeholders across clinical, operational, and executive teams to ensure delivery aligns with goals and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
Skills:

Advanced computer knowledge, including ability to navigate in electronic health records

Requirements:
- Bachelors: Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent One year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related tasks required

Azure Architecture (AZ-305) certification
-
5 years’ experience with Data solutions in Microsoft Azure required
-
5 years of technical projects experience required
-
10 years’ experience with Data solutions in Microsoft Azure preferred
-
10 years of technical projects experience preferred

Motor Vehicle Valid state-issued driver's license and
-
MVR clearance is required; a 39-month MVR is required for any applicant at the time of the interview
Tools and Equipment Requirements:

Frequent use of a telephone, computer, printer, fax machine and copier

Frequent use of the internet and various web browser software, and
-
Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Frequent use of electronic health record

Data and software development tools. Microsoft Azure PaaS services. Ability to write

SQL and python scripts and use other data and software development tools.
Physical Working Conditions and Office Setting Description:
