Job Summary
Location: Remote with some travel to Jacksonville, NC

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Data Analyst to support data
driven decision-making across clinical, operational, and administrative functions. The ideal
candidate will analyze healthcare data to improve patient outcomes, optimize resource
utilization, and support compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with
finance, medical staff, IT, and leadership to deliver actionable insights that enhance care
delivery and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilites
- Collect, clean, and analyze healthcare data from electronic health records (EHR), claims, patient surveys, and other sources.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics such as patient outcomes, readmission rates, and cost efficiency.
- Identify trends and patterns in clinical and operational data to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to understand data needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Work with finance and operations to present key data to key stakeholders routinely.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and programs using statistical methods.
- Train others on data capture and report generation as necessary.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare setting.
- Experience working with healthcare data and familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) a plus.
- Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, workflows, and regulatory requirements a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of healthcare standards such as ICD-10, CPT, HL7, and FHIR.
- Knowledge of KPIs and industry drivers.
- Data analysis and report building experience.
