The Data Analyst is a subject matter expert and plays a critical role in identifying trends and patterns among Knowtion Health’s client inventories for purposes of facilitating the prioritization of accounts to be worked and adjusted/returned and to provide insight to Knowtion Health’s clients regarding inventory they placed with Knowtion Health to drive strategic decision making.

The Opportunity:
- Run reports to identify trends and patterns within claims inventory to drive workflow including any bulk account actions that can be applied to the inventory (Example: non-viable adjustments)
- Work with Operations and Client Services leadership to identify trending and patterns to report back to clients
- Work with Operations leaders to resolve issues through helping to identify business requirements for technology improvements and in support of operational process efficiencies
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement within inventory for billing, claim reimbursement, and follow-up processes
- Validate analytics using data from client systems
- Review insurance companies’ payment patterns and denials to identify any trends and irregularities
- Reconcile inventory including payments, adjustments and returned accounts as needed
- Engage during implementation of new Low Balance projects and participate during Business Requirement Document (BRD) workshop as needed to help gather client specific analytics needs and ensure they are documented
- Work closely with Product Management Director of Analytics regarding any new operational analytic enhancements which may be needed for one or many clients
What you bring:
- 3+ years of experience in hospital revenue cycle analytics preferred or equivalent experience in hospital accounts receivable claims management
- Experience in claim inventory analysis including identifying trends and patterns and actions needed to resolve
- Expert experience in Microsoft Office applications; specifically Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint
- Preferred proficiency in Tableau
- Understand the overall concepts of hospital inventory management and various hospital inventory management systems
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle and different Revenue Cycle systems/applications
