Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, analytics, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will work closely with our data team to support various projects, utilizing their skills in data mining, analytics, and machine learning to drive insights that inform business decisions.

Duties

Assist in the collection, processing, and analysis of large datasets using tools such as SQL and Python.
Conduct data mining and develop analytical models to identify trends and patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Utilize big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark, to manage and analyze vast amounts of information.
Support the development of machine learning models using appropriate frameworks to enhance predictive analytics capabilities.
Create visualizations and reports that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving data processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.
Familiarity with SQL for database querying.
Understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark is a plus.
Experience or coursework related to analytics, machine learning, or data mining.
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks is desirable.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
