Location: Elk Grove, CA (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
Rate: Market Rate

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist specializing in NLP and Text Analysis to join our team in Elk Grove, CA. The ideal candidate will be skilled in deriving meaningful insights from text data, creating impactful visualizations, and presenting findings in a clear, engaging way for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret large volumes of text data using NLP techniques.
Translate complex data into actionable insights for business use.
Design and build visualizations (Tableau or Python) to clearly communicate findings.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver results in a business-friendly format.
Apply machine learning and AI techniques where applicable to enhance analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience with Python for text analysis and NLP.
Strong background in Data Visualization (Tableau preferred, Python acceptable).
Machine Learning & AI experience (5–10 years).
Familiarity with SQL (minimum 1 year).
Strong ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work independently and collaborate in a hybrid team setting.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
