Role Overview:

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer who can work across both the frontend (Next.js) and backend to build and scale Brainzee’s core platform. You’ll play a key role in shaping the user experience, designing robust backend systems, and collaborating closely with leadership to bring Brainzee’s vision to life.

Responsibilities:

Frontend (Next.js / React)
Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with Next.js.
Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
Collaborate with designers to implement clean and functional UI.

Backend (Node.js / API Development)

Develop and maintain server-side logic and APIs (REST/GraphQL).
Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for schema design, queries, and optimization.
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
Manage cloud services and deployment pipelines (AWS, Vercel, Firebase).

General

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the stack.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Brainzee team to align technical work with business needs.
Stay current with modern frameworks, tools, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications:

Strong experience with Next.js, React, and Node.js.
Familiarity with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
Knowledge of API development and integration (REST or GraphQL).
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web security.
Experience deploying apps to cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel, or similar).
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.

(Preferred)

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of full-stack development experience.
Experience in building and scaling early-stage web applications.
