Summary:

Impower.ai is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of modern, automated data solutions for one of our key clients. This role is ideal for a technically strong consultant who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, with deep expertise in Microsoft’s Power Platform and Azure ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in transforming manual data processes into scalable, user-friendly solutions that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a client-facing consultant, translating complex technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
Design and implement scalable data automation solutions using Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Build and optimize data models and pipelines leveraging Azure Synapse, SQL, and other Azure services.
Develop scripts and automation to eliminate manual data tasks and enhance operational workflows.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Synapse).
Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell), and Azure data services.
Demonstrated success in automating manual data workflows and delivering scalable, high-impact solutions.
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the ability to engage and influence non-technical audiences.
Experience in the energy sector or financial planning is a strong plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
Microsoft certifications such as PL-100, PL-400, DP-500, or AZ-900 are highly preferred.
