Job Summary:
eos is looking for an Analyst, Consumer Insights and Marketing Analytics to support the development of a new insights function and help the brand grow through data-driven decision making. This position will focus on combining shopper data with consumer research and campaign insights to deliver a full picture of category performance, shopper behavior, consumer attitudes, and marketing effectiveness. The right candidate will be a hands-on analyst with experience in retail measurement, consumer surveys, dashboards, campaign analysis, and social listening. This role reports to the Director, Consumer Insights & Marketing Analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage recurring retail panel and POS reporting, including category share, household penetration, buy rate, and promotional effectiveness
- Conduct shopper insights analysis, including promotional lift, switching behavior, and basket dynamics
- Provide critical input to Market Strategy & Planning ensuring insights are embedded in EOS’s growth priorities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards that connect shopper, consumer, and marketing data for Marketing, Sales, and Innovation teams
- Develop and maintain ETL/data processes into Azure RDBMS (SQL, R, or Python) to ensure clean and connected data flows
- Support consumer research projects, including survey programming, concept testing, and qualitative study logistics
- Contribute to campaign analysis, pulling performance data and evaluating creative effectiveness and media impact
- Conduct social listening queries and summarize emerging consumer and competitor themes
- Apply AI-enabled tools for text analytics, coding open-ends, and automating repetitive analysis tasks
- Analyze data across shopper, consumer, and campaign sources, synthesizing results into clear findings and draft deliverables for cross-functional partners
- Collaborate with the Director on quantitative research analysis, qualitative interpretation, category reviews, and forecasting, integrating shopper, consumer, and campaign perspectives
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Innovation, and Market Strategy & Planning) to ensure insights inform campaigns, pricing, and innovation decisions
Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in CPG insights, analytics, or market research, with hands-on experience using panel and retail measurement data (e.g., NielsenIQ, Circana, Numerator)
- Experience in CPG required; beauty or personal care industry experience a plus
- Background in Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or related field preferred; Bachelor degree required
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; working knowledge of SQL, R, or Python for data cleaning and analysis strongly preferred
- Experience with survey research platforms and familiarity with qualitative research approaches a plus
- Experience with campaign analytics, social listening, or marketing measurement desirable
- Comfort with AI-driven analytics tools for coding, automation, and text mining
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to integrate multiple data sources into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow-through on multiple projects
- Strong communication skills with an ability to translate data into simple, digestible takeaways
- Demonstrates curiosity, resourcefulness, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
