Overview:
The Data Scientist, Data Solutions is responsible for creating valuable information from Prodege’s first party data by projecting data trends, building analytics solutions, locating and integrating outside data sources, and recommending data collection tactics. This role will apply advanced analytical techniques and utilize industry best practices to deliver business needs of internal and external stakeholders.

- Data Analysis & Insights Development: Building analytical models, applying machine learning techniques, and visualizing data trends.

Detailed Job Duties: (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks which support the primary objectives)

Data Analysis & Insights Development:

Collaborate with Data and Insights team members to build analytics tools centered on Prodege’s various data assets.

Lead the application of advanced descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analyses along with NLP and AI-based techniques.

Use 3rd-party and homegrown software to expand access to data, visualize data trends, and inspire the use of data-based solutions.

Design and create data models, algorithms, KPIs, and weighting methods utilizing open-source libraries to generate standard and projected statistics describing data trends.

Synthesize data assets to discover bespoke insights and communicate this information to clients

Data Engineering & Automation:

Program, automate, and maintain processes using general-purpose programming languages to support key initiatives across the organization.

Locate and integrate outside data sources to help extract and validate valuable insights.

Generate data extracts for internal and external customers in accordance with Prodege’s data-sharing best practices.

Data Quality & Governance

Assist internal and 3rd party data coding teams to improve quality of the data assets.

Successful performance in the Data Scientist, Data Solutions role is defined by the ability to extract valuable insights from Prodege’s first-party data, leveraging advanced analytical techniques, machine learning models, and data visualization to support business decisions. The individual must effectively automate data processes, integrate external data sources, and develop scalable analytics tools that enhance accessibility and usability for both internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring data integrity and accuracy through collaboration with internal teams and third-party partners is critical to maintaining high-quality data assets. Additionally, the role requires proactive innovation in analytics solutions, continuously improving methodologies to align with evolving business needs. Ultimately, success is measured by the impact of data-driven insights on operational efficiency, decision-making quality, and business growth.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science fields

Three or more (3+) years experience providing data extraction and data analysis for internal and external stakeholders.

Experience with Python and open-source libraries.

Experience building scripts to automate data-based tasks.
- Experience working with customers to provide data-based solutions.

Experience with CPG/ omni-channel retail Market Research.

Experience utilizing Applied Statistics on work projects.

Experience crafting surveys using quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Experience transforming and analyzing survey data.

Experience with visualization tools like SIGMA, Tableau or Crunch.io.

Experience with predictive and prescriptive analytical methods.

Experience with Natural Language Processing techniques and use-cases.

Experience with Machine Learning techniques and use-cases.

Pay Transparency:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,00 to $140,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
