The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Scientist focused on Product Analytics and Machine Learning, you'll be instrumental in transforming product data into actionable insights that directly influence product strategy, feature development, and business outcomes.
You'll work at the intersection of analytics, experimentation, and machine learning—analyzing user behavior across billions of API interactions to uncover opportunities that improve engagement, retention, and conversion. Your insights will guide sprint planning, feature prioritization, and strategic business decisions that impact millions of users globally.

What You'll Do
- Analyze and aggregate user behavior data to identify trends, surface friction points, and uncover growth opportunities
- Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product roadmaps and feature prioritization
- Own end-to-end A/B test design from hypothesis generation and power analysis through to post-test analysis
- Conduct deep-dive cohort analyses to identify patterns in user behavior across billions of API interactions
- Build and maintain ML models for business-critical decisions using modern techniques including gradient boosted trees, neural networks, offline/online eval testing, signal fusion, ranking mechanism and survival analysis
- Contribute to end-to-end model development and deployment for automated decision-making
- Collaborate with ML engineers to productionize models that improve platform performance and user experience
- Present insights to cross-functional teams including engineering, product, marketing, and leadership
- Build automated dashboards that make product performance visible across the organization
You Might Be a Fit If You Have:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in product analytics or applied data science, ideally within large scale digital products
- Experience building AI products with familiarity with ML methods and their practical applications
- Advanced SQL and Python skills with understanding of software engineering and data engineering best practices
- Strong grasp of experimentation methodologies (A/B testing, multivariate testing) and their application in product decisions
- Sound understanding of statistical and ML models: gradient boosted trees, logistic regression, neural networks, survival analysis, vector search and dynamic re-ranking
- Familiarity with end-to-end ML model development and maintenance for business-critical decisions
- Deep understanding of key product metrics: user engagement, retention, churn, lifetime value, conversion rates
- Ability to work across engineering, design, product marketing, sales, and customer support to launch and support products
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with search, information retrieval, dynamic re-ranking
- Experience with API platforms or developer tools
- Background in data modeling and managing analytics pipelines
- Previous experience at high-growth technology companies or scale-ups
