We’re seeking a
Software Engineer to help build and maintain scalable web applications that power ViralHog’s digital operations. This is a hands-on, in-office role where you’ll collaborate closely with a small, motivated team. Whether you’re early in your career or bring several years of experience, we welcome developers who are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact.
Requirements
- Design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based applications and internal tools.
- Work hands-on with designers, product managers, and other team members to turn their requests and reported issues into effective features and fixes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team processes and standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure reliability and performance.
- Assist in configuring, operating, and maintaining web Apache servers to support application deployment and uptime.
- Apply basic IT and software knowledge to assist with simple in-office IT requests and troubleshooting.
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, browsers, servers).
- 1–5 years of experience in software development (level flexible based on skills).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
