About The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and high-performance data infrastructure. This role requires a blend of expertise in software development, database management, and cloud technologies to deliver robust data solutions.
This is a 3x onsite at Mountain View office role.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering solutions for distributed data queries, ensuring efficient and timely access to large datasets.
- Managing Structured Data Systems, which includes defining fixed formats and general data structures that will apply to multiple data sets across the organization.
- Architecting and Designing Relational and NoSQL data structures to support various business needs and application requirements.
- Tuning and optimizing for performance of data pipelines, databases, and query execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Very Strong of experience as a Full Stack or Back End Developer, with a strong focus on data-centric applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as NodeJS and Python.
- Expert knowledge of databases and SQL; extensive experience with both NoSQL and relational databases, specifically Postgres.
- Demonstrated experience with ETL pipeline creation and management.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows for version control and collaboration.
- Proficiency with the AWS platform (e.g., S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Glue) for deploying and managing data services.
- Experience writing unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Strong English communication.
