About the Role
Advanced Software Designs is looking for a skilled React / .NET Developer to join our development team in Chesterfield, MO. In this role, you’ll help modernize and extend functionality from our existing ProductVision Windows client application into a web-based platform.
Our current system is a client-server application backed by Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, with backend services written in VB.NET and C#. You’ll primarily develop and enhance our React front-end application, while also contributing to the .NET backend and RESTful API.
This position offers a hands-on opportunity to work across the full stack, collaborating with a team dedicated to building reliable, user-friendly, and scalable software.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable React components and interfaces.
- Work with other team members to design, implement, and maintain .NET RESTful APIs.
- Analyze and enhance existing software for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming and integration issues.
- Assist support staff in diagnosing and resolving customer-reported problems.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for internal and external use.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.
- Experience with .NET languages, including VB.NET and C#.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
- Strong analytical, design, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and quality.
Nice to Have
- Experience in process manufacturing (food & beverage, paint, chemical, cosmetic, etc.).
- Experience migrating legacy client applications to modern web architectures.
- Familiarity with both frontend and backend debugging and performance tuning.
