Location: Oklahoma City, OK - hybrid role (2-3 days a week onsite)
We are looking for a Data Engineer passionate about building and scaling Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS) offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for creating data pipelines, structures and integrations that power advanced analytics, machine learning models, and data-driven experimentation across the business. You will work at the intersection of data engineering and data science, enabling the rapid development, testing, and deployment of insights and predictive models by ensuring clean, reliable, and well-structured data is readily available.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Design and build scalable data pipelines to support data science use cases, including feature engineering, model training, and real-time inference
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality, production-ready datasets
- Structure and maintain analytics-ready data models optimized for performance, scalability, and reuse
- Design and support the data layer of a self-service analytics and modeling platform, enabling fast access to pre-processed and enriched data
- Operationalize outputs from data science, including storing model results, tracking predictions, and supporting feedback loops
- Build automation tools and frameworks for data science workflows, such as feature stores, experiment tracking, and model evaluation pipelines
- Work with infrastructure teams to ensure scalable deployment of data services supporting analytics and ML
- Maintain strong data quality, governance, and documentation to ensure transparency and reliability across data products

Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role
- Experience building infrastructure for data science platforms
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for building and orchestrating data workflows
- Experience with modern data stack tools
- Deep understanding of data modeling for analytics and machine learning applications
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses and object storage
- Experience with Databricks
- Familiarity with machine learning workflows, including feature pipelines, training/inference data prep, and model outputs
- Strong focus on automation, reusability, and modular design for scalable analytics delivery
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders
- Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance considerations in data science
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or comparable academic discipline
- Must have or be willing to obtain Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship)
- Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen
