Our client, a leader in innovative technology solutions, is seeking a Firmware Engineer 1 to join their dynamic team. As a Firmware Engineer 1, you will be part of the touchscreen-based personal computer devices product development department supporting cross-functional teams dedicated to delivering high-quality hardware and software integration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Firmware Engineer 1
Location: Redmond, WA | Hybrid - onsite 3 days per week
Pay Range: $45-50 per hour
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, and implement firmware and software solutions for touchscreen-based personal computer devices.
- Conduct thorough testing of weekly software builds to ensure functionality and stability.
- Identify, analyze, and debug issues during development to maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate performance and optimize system integration.
- Prepare detailed test plans, software specifications, and migration packages for deployment.
What's Needed?
- 1-2 years of experience in software programming, particularly in C and embedded C.
- Experience with Windows driver debugging and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration processes for build automation.
- Strong debugging skills and experience with testing environments.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
