Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Software Design Engineer 2 to join their team. As a Software Design Engineer 2, you will be part of the development team supporting innovative internal projects and streamlining business workflows. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Software Design Engineer 2
Location: Redmond, WA - Hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days onsite per week
Pay Range: $50.49 - $55.56 on Experis W2
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions to support business processes
- Gather and analyze system requirements, and document specifications
- Code new programs and modify existing ones to meet client specifications
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance reviews
- Perform post-implementation validation and resolve bugs during testing phases
- Be ready to demonstrate proficiency in listed hard skills (React, C#, Azure, OpenAI)
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
- 2-4 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in core programming languages such as React, C#, and Azure
- Experience with full-stack development and troubleshooting legacy systems
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
