Software Engineer - Founder Accelerator Infrastructure
Location: New York City (Non-Negotiable Onsite/Relocation Required)
Compensation: $180K - $260K
We are the leading accelerator for crypto founders, having backed over
300 startups that are now collectively valued at over
$10 billion. We are a small, high-trust, high-performance team of builders (ex-Meta, YC, Coinbase, and founders) backed by S-tier investors. We are hiring a
Software Engineer to join our in-house engineering team and own features from requirements definition through production launch.
Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be a product-minded, hands-on
Individual Contributor who owns the delivery of core products end-to-end. This means turning ambiguous problems into high-quality, shipped software that directly accelerates the next generation of top crypto and AI founders.
What you'll do:
- Own products end-to-end: From discovery and definition through implementation, launch, and iteration
 - Write production-grade TypeScript across the full stack (React/Next.js on the front-end; Node.js on the back-end)
 - Build and maintain critical internal tools that improve the speed and efficiency of our team
 - Ship features across our external sites and web applications, including our founder portal (Space) and public marketing surfaces
 - Craft polished UIs with React, contributing components and patterns back to our internal component library
 - Integrate third-party APIs (auth, payments, email) and own data models, caching, and performance optimization
 - Raise the bar on engineering quality through thorough code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and a focus on reliability and accessibility

Requirements
- Product-Minded Builder: Proven ability to turn ambiguous business problems into shipped software without a dedicated PM or designer
 - Deep Stack Experience: Deep expertise with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
 - UX/UI Taste: A keen sense for UX/UI, including the ability to sketch flows or lightweight wireframes before beginning development
 - High-Agency IC: Hands-on individual contributor (IC) orientation with a strong ownership bias—you set priorities, move fast, and sweat the details
 - Mindset: Extremely high-agency, entrepreneurial, and self-driven
 - Modern Tooling: Comfortable using modern AI tools to move faster and increase productivity
 - Location: NYC-based or willing to relocate to New York City (non-negotiable)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
- Familiarity with Next.js and a modern database (e.g., Postgres/Prisma)
 - A standout GitHub profile with notable open-source projects or meaningful contributions
 - A design-engineering portfolio showcasing polished UI work and component systems
 - Prior experience as a Founder or early team member of a VC-backed startup
 - Experience as an SWE at a category-defining tech company (e.g., Meta, Stripe, OpenAI)

Note on Culture: This role demands focus, hunger, and a career-defining level of commitment. Everyone on our small team is a hands-on builder, not a manager. Low agency candidates will not succeed.
Benefits
- Location: NYC-based (Non-negotiable)
 - Compensation: Competitive Base Salary ($180K - $260K)
 - Equity: Significant equity grant of 0.1%-0.4% (depending on seniority)
 - Career Accelerator: This role sets you up, experience- and network-wise, for any high-impact path in crypto/AI—at startups, venture firms, or your own company
 - Impact: Direct ownership and visibility; your work shapes how the next generation of founders discovers us
 - Team: Join a small, high-trust, high-performance team of veterans from companies like Meta, WhatsApp, Coinbase, and Y Combinator
 - Network: Work with the most ambitious founders in crypto and AI, backed by S-tier investors including Initialized Capital, Founders Fund, Multicoin, and Dragonfly
