Robert Half is seeking a Software Engineer I who will analyze, design, program, debug, test, implement and modify software enhancements and/or new applications used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS or desktop applications products. Completes SDLC documentation, and procedures for all phases of software development lifecycle. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Supports launched applications in the production environment.
What You'll Do

You will have the opportunity to work with cloud-based technologies such as Azure, AWS and cloud-based SAAS applications such as Salesforce and other industry-standard technologies.

Work with a team of motivated engineers that drive innovation and optimization in building applications for sales/marketing department

Software development on the Salesforce platform using Object Oriented design methodologies and Salesforce technologies- Lightning, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Apex Triggers, Agentforce, Processes & Flows, Scheduled Jobs, Salesforce Integrations with external systems using REST / SOAP APIs, and more.

Contribute to several key generative AI and ML initiatives, including the integration of large language models (LLMs) and Gen AI-based automation into business processes.

Maintain data pipelines to ingest, harmonize, and transform enterprise data from Azure and other systems into Data Cloud.

Integrate and extend Agentforce capabilities to create intelligent, context-aware customer and employee experiences.

Develop and fine-tune AI prompts, flows, and agents that utilize Einstein Copilot and other generative AI features within Salesforce.

Support predictive and generative AI solutions for customer insights, recommendations, and intelligent workflows.

Build and maintain Node.js microservices and Python scripts to support automation, data synchronization, and system monitoring.

Use Python data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) for data preprocessing and modeling.

Support predictive analytics, customer insights, and data visualization initiatives.

Develop and deploy applications using Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Service, and Azure DevOps.

Perform unit test planning and execution for own code.

Execute integration testing within project scope.
What You'll Need

BS in Engineering or related field or 2+ years’ equivalent experience in a related field within a medium-to-large IT organization.

Firm grasp on standard & custom objects, APEX, Lightning Design System/Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, validation rules, Process Builder/Cloud Flow Designer, Debugging, Test Class design.

Solid programming background in Python and Node.js including packages/frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Angular and React.

Understanding of Object-oriented concepts, design patterns, abstraction/inheritance, as well as experience with object-oriented languages (.NET/JAVA).

Good knowledge of SFDX CLI, Git and devops function on the Salesforce platform

Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein or other AI-powered tools within the Salesforce ecosystem, such as Predictive Analytics and AgentForce

Familiarity with data science, machine learning, and prompt engineering concepts.

Experience working in an agile development environment

Working knowledge of Visual Studio Code with Salesforce and other developer extensions

Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to difficult problem

Ability to create simple process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow.

Ability to gather requirements and create test plans.

Certifications: Platform App Builder, Salesforce Admin, Platform Developer I/II, AgentForce, Data Cloud, etc.
The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.
$67,000.00 - $100,000.00
