Python Developer – Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) | Jersey City, NJ | W2 Only
We’re looking for a hands-on Python Developer to join our client’s technology team in Jersey City, NJ. This is a hybrid position (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) — ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment with a focus on innovation and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data processing and analysis.
- Implement and manage job scheduling using Quartz.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development
- Proficiency in SQL – writing and tuning complex queries
- Experience with Quartz Scheduler
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in Banking experience
- Exposure to Linux/Unix scripting
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
