Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for data engineering processes supporting Analytics and Reporting solutions for a large client here in Columbus. As a Data Engineer, you will also be help execute strategic roadmap to a cloud data platform. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with relational databases, SQL
- Cloud computing knowledge
- Coding knowledge including java, C++, or Python
- Understanding of data pipelines
- Exposure to Git, CI/CD, and automation scripting for deployment and release management
- Strong communication skills as this role will need to collaborate with both teams across the organization boundaries and report out progress in terms of key initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Participate in documentation, maintinence, and support for legacy ETL processes
- Upkeep of Windows and SQL environment
- Provide analyst enhancement requests, questions, or issue resolution
- Participate in Incident response during working hours
- Orchestrate and replication of Legacy ETL Processes in modern cloud technologies
