Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing Analytics, the Associate Analyst will support the execution of Marketing data analytics initiatives. The Associate Analyst will utilize business intuition, project management, and a working knowledge of analytical tools in their day-to-day to deliver analyses that create sustainable revenue and share growth, efficiencies, and cost savings.
Execute for Results
- Responsible for execution of solutions to business problems using data analysis.
- With support, seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions.
- Communicate quantitative concepts to stakeholders in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
- Proactively develop strategic and problem-solving skills.
Project Management
- With manager’s support, manage multiple projects by balancing the competing demands for project scope, time, and quality, while being accountable for deliverables.
- Responsible for tracking projects throughout execution.
Partnership
- Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, and IT teams as appropriate.
- Partner with teammates to support Marketing initiatives to innovate and improve business.
Note: This position offers a hybrid schedule with in-office requirements 50% of the time from United Airlines' Corporate Headquarters in Chicago, IL.
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, marketing, or quantitative field (statistics, engineering, analytics, information systems, aviation management, or related degree)
- 1+ years of experience in analytics role (analytics, revenue management, customer loyalty, marketing, pricing, financial analysis, consulting, data engineering or another relevant quantitative field)
- Experience using spreadsheets and graphing information
- Proven experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1+ year experience in marketing analytics
- 1+ year airline experience
- Experience with statistical analysis and modeling including linear regression, segmentation, non-linear predictive (e.g. logistic) regression or machine learning
- Experience with SQL

The base pay range for this role is $52,725.00 to $68,632.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
