NEED Financial Services allows entertainment and media production companies to focus strictly on their creative and production endeavors. Our team of professionals handles the necessary tasks of accounts payable and receivable, job costing, and internal financial statement preparation.
Position Summary
The Software Developer is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional responsible for delivering new software solutions and supporting existing systems. This hands-on role focuses on building and enhancing applications, automation tools, and integrations across the organization. A strong passion for technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning is essential. In addition to development work, the Software Developer will engage with business teams to understand workflows, maintain functional knowledge of key processes, and deliver solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. The Software Developer is a key role in our tight-knit Tech Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze issues, and design effective technical solutions.
- Develop, enhance, and support automation and application solutions using technologies such as WPF, C#, .NET, APIs, Python, VBA, testing frameworks such as Vitest and Postman and other applicable tools.
- Build and maintain integrations leveraging Microsoft Graph, MS SQL Server, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps and Azure Serverless Functions
- Contribute to front-end and full-stack development efforts using React, TypeScript, and Express.js.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring high system availability and reliability.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, code reviews, deployment, and support.
- Support and enhance Acumatica ERP software solutions
- Drive process improvements and streamline business operations through automation and innovative technology adoption.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives by adhering to secure coding practices and promoting proper data-handling protocols.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and support compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet established deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Build strong working relationships with employees, leadership, and business partners through effective communication.
- Participate in extended hours or on-call rotation when required.
- Ensure all actions align with NEED’s mission, values, goals, and Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology, Operations, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 2 - 5+ years of experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, source control, testing, builds, and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with core technologies such as: WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), C# / .NET, APIs / RESTful services, React & TypeScript, Node.js, Express, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, VBA, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB and Graph, Azure DevOps, App Services and Serverless Functions, Github
- Familiarity with AI concepts and tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting business needs and priorities.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse groups.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
