The eCommerce Product Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting on data to identify trends, optimize customer experience, and support marketing and product development efforts. This role also involves maintaining product vehicle fitment data in accordance with industry ACES and PIES data standards for manufacturers in the Aftermarket including and not limited to OE, OES, Aftermarket, Private Label, Heavy Duty, Performance & Accessories.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of automotive parts and accessories product data
- Ensure flow between manufacturers data across portals and ERP.
- Mapping and normalizing data received from manufacturers and internal sources to ensure data is consistent and accurate.
- Review, clean & correct product data including images, dimensions, descriptions, and fitment/application data & interchanges.
- Manage data within the PIM and generate ad-hoc exports to support departmental needs.
- Establishes and Coordinates Marketing objectives to support eCommerce deliverables.
- Generates, maintains, and upkeeps product interchanges.
- Responsible for validating supplier interchange data and ensuring that new interchange data is readily available.
- Communicates discrepancies to the appropriate Team lead and/or supplier.
- Review competitive supplier websites for data comparisons.
- Supply export for interchange records and data access to eCommerce Channels.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree either in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
- 1+ years’ work experience in the automotive sector (retail store, repair shop, manufacturing).
- Strong focus in data analysis, marketing, and eCommerce
- Must be proficient in MS Excel, and Word, and can learn to work in a Catalogue PIM (Product Information System).
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- eCommerce procurement and/or sales experience
- Analytics training or Marketing experience is a plus.
