The Role

We're looking for a software engineer who builds to last—someone who values craftsmanship, precision, and reliability over quick fixes. You'll work on full-stack applications that directly support laboratory operations, robotics integration, and automation systems that impact global health and safety.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design solutions from the ground up, collaborate directly with end-users, and make meaningful architectural decisions that shape our technology foundation.

What You'll Build

Full-stack applications using modern cloud-native architecture on Azure
RESTful APIs that power laboratory automation and robotics systems
Scalable, maintainable solutions designed for long-term stability and performance
Integrations connecting laboratory equipment, data systems, and business applications

Your Impact

Translate complex laboratory workflows into intuitive, reliable software
Work directly with scientists and lab personnel to understand real-world needs
Architect solutions that balance immediate functionality with long-term maintainability
Contribute to coding standards and engineering best practices across the team

What You Bring

Required Experience

3+ years of professional full-stack software development
Front-end expertise: Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills; React experience highly valued
Back-end proficiency: Solid object-oriented programming foundation; .NET Core experience preferred
API design: Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
Database skills: SQL and relational database design (MSSQL experience a plus)
Engineering mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to code quality

Bonus Points

Azure cloud experience: App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Application Gateway, or AKS
DevOps familiarity: Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration
Testing practices: Unit testing, integration testing, test automation frameworks
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
