Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to support data modeling, reporting, and analytics initiatives within our lending technology environment. This individual will work extensively with SQL, Databricks (or comparable Data Lake technologies), and reporting tools to support data design, troubleshoot reporting issues, analyze complex datasets, and help deliver data-driven solutions for the business.
While familiarity with commercial lending concepts is beneficial, the primary focus of this role is supporting data workflows, reporting accuracy, predictive analytics, and data-related project delivery. This role collaborates closely with Data Analysts, Business SMEs, and Engineering teams and plays a key part in elevating our organization's data capabilities.
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong SQL proficiency with experience analyzing, transforming, and troubleshooting complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, a Data Lake, or comparable cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience supporting data modeling, data design, or reporting development.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving reporting inconsistencies, data quality issues, or model errors.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience supporting ad hoc data investigations and problem-solving activities.
- Ability to work onsite Tue-Thu (hybrid schedule).
Preferred Requirements
- Experience supporting analytics, predictive modeling, or AI-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, or audit/compliance activities.
- Exposure to cloud data tools, ETL pipelines, or automation workflows.
- Experience in a lending or financial services data environment (preferred but not required).
- Experience working in Agile environments (JIRA, Confluence).
