Summary:
MVP Disc Sports is seeking a full-time, on-site position for an entry-level programmer who is eager to grow their technical skills while supporting the ongoing development of our NetSuite ERP platform and other internal systems. The ideal candidate is a motivated problem-solver who enjoys building, troubleshooting, and improving system workflows. Prior ERP or NetSuite experience is preferred but not required for candidates willing to learn.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ERP Support & Customization
- Assist with configuration, customization, and testing of ERP workflows (NetSuite experience a plus).
- Support the development of scripts, automated processes, and system enhancements
- Troubleshoot system errors, data inconsistencies, and user-reported issues.
- Help maintain documentation for system processes, customizations, and integrations.
Programming & Development
- Write clean, efficient code in languages such as JavaScript, SuiteScript, or similar (training provided).
- Assist in developing internal tools, small applications, or workflow automations.
- Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and version control practices.
- Support integration efforts between the ERP and other platforms as needed.
User & Department Support
- Provide basic technical support to internal users for system navigation and workflow questions.
- Assist with training materials, user guides, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand bottlenecks and suggest system improvements.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, or equivalent experience.
- Foundational understanding of programming concepts (any language).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Willingness to learn ERP systems, specifically NetSuite.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work fully on-site, Monday–Friday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to ERP systems, NetSuite, or workflow-based platforms.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, SuiteScript, Python, SQL, or similar languages.
- Experience with automation tools or system integration concepts.
- Understanding of business processes (manufacturing, supply chain, finance, etc.) is a bonus, but not required.
Working Conditions
- Full-time, on-site role in a manufacturing and office environment.
- Collaboration with the ERP Administrator, IT, Accounting, Warehouse, and Production teams.
