Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at GEICO Tech, you'll play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights
Data Analysis & Interpretation
- Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns
- Translate complex data findings into understandable insights for stakeholders
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for key business metrics
- Perform statistical analysis to support business decision-making
Business Intelligence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis
- Support strategic planning with data-driven recommendations
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators
Requirements & Qualifications
We're looking for candidates with the right mix of technical skills and business acumen
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in a data analyst role or similar position
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
